Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) came up with a discussion paper to decide on Solar Rooftop tariffs from the next FY (2018-19). As per the latest document below, the maximum Solar that can be installed on a Rooftop can be 75% of the sanctioned load after 31st March 2018.

Along with this, they were also looking to change the tariff to Rs. 3.27 for every excess unit of generation for the system with the size of 1-1000kW.

The Suggestions/Comments/Views from the stakeholders/ interested persons shall be submitted to the Secretary, KERC or by email (kerc-ka@nic.in) on or before 05.03.2018.
