Located in one of the gated communities on Sarjapura Road(Rainbow Drive Layout), the residence had limited usable area for installing solar panels without using a fabricated structure. The solution was to customize the precast aluminium structure to install 10 panels on the flat roof without disconnecting the access to the water tank for maintenance. The structure on the flat roof ensured that a fabricated structure was not needed without compromising on the wind velocity factor.
The slant roof to the south inclined close to 30 degree angle was also used with special mounting structures.In affect the entire system was installed on a usable area of 250 sq.ft without compromising on the maintenance aspect and shadow factors. The micro-inverters helped in installing the panels in two different tilt angles.
