3.06kW Solar rooftop system on an elevated structure with 340W modules made by Waaree. This system is installed with microinverters made by Enphase energy.

User Requirements

• Reduce Electricity Bills
• To elevate a structure and install the panels so that the area below becomes usable and also reduce the building up of temperature in the rooms below the terrace
• To have a system which can negate the shadow issues from the building on the east side.

System Description

An elevated MS structure was fabricated to install the panels with Walkways to access each panel. The panels are clamped on the MS structure using Aluminium C-Channels and Z-Clamps\T-Clamps.

Micro-Inverter was used to negate the generation losses from shadows. Since each panel has its own micro-inverter, shadows on any one of the panels do not affect the generation of other panels.

With the system generating ~12 units per day or 360 units in a month, the approximate savings per month amounts to Rs.2,500.00 per month.
